The cooling fans for the engine do not seem to come on. The engine runs very warm 220 degrees in traffic and I have not heard the fans come on nor seen them with the hood open and the engine is hot. I checked the fuses and all are good. If it is the sensor, where is it and is it hard to replace, any help is really appreciated. Thanks

220 is almost normal for every corvette...     245 is where you start to worry usually...

. seems you have a 2002 Z06..

by the way.. with advanced scan tools.. you can command the fans on remotely...

sometimes this can be done from the DIC or the climate controls..

this is on a C5. might also work on a C4.. not sure of that.. WILL NOT WORK ON a C6..

turn the key on without starting the engine...

press the reset button to turn off any warning messages.

press and hold the OPTIONS button.

while holding the OPTIONS button.. press the FUEL button 4 times within 10 seconds..

it will start throwing codes at you...

this usually requires the factory service manual to follow along from here...
