During heavy Florida rain, "ABS / ACTIVE HANDLING" notice comes on. After a few driving cycles in dry weather code corrects itself and goes off. It re occurs in a week or so in wet and dry weather. Any chance it is just a dirty connection on the sensor which I believe is under the drivers side door? Thanx in advance.

a few things...
YEAR.... and can you grab any codes for the ABS/active handing system?? that will narrow it down to one of the MANY areas that it could be..
it takes more than a generic scan tool to access the ABS codes..
does your car have full digital AC... you might be able to access the trouble codes without a scan tool...

Check and clean the connections at the wheel speed sensors. Just a thought.
