84 rear wandering on dry road

With good tires and good alignment, my C4 wanders on straight line well paved roads 50mph+...any thoughts?...not a problem on secondary windy roads...I changed all bad suspension parts on rear, front end totally rebuit...  

who did the rear wheel alignment...    very few wheel alignment techs are  really well aware of the how when where and why of the C4 rear suspension..

you might have more bushing issues... or even rear wheel bearing issues..

the suspension bushings can ONLY be tightened in place while the suspension is at RIDE height.. or it will rip the new bushings right out..

i recall some rear tie rod issues on some of the Early C4s..  8 and 9 in this diagram..

Have you tried changing the air pressure in the front and rear.

Have a friend that has an 84 and it did some wild things on the road. I checked the tire pressure. He had the rears set at 60psi. I asked him why it was so high? He said the tire guy told him to run them at 60psi. Well he had already started to wear the rears in the center. 60psi was the max psi the tire manufacturer put on the tire. I set all the tire to 32psi coldand it was a different handling car.My 2 cents. Of course I don't drive it every day.
