I'm doing some customizing touches on my C5 and I'm considering painting the intake manifold to add some contrast to the engine bay. I wonder what effect does painting the intake manifold have on heat sinking and/or performance on a LS engine.

There are paints that will hold the heat in the intake manifold....Not a good idea on my part...
