1984 Corvette A/C Delete Pulley

I have not been able to find a delete pulley for the 84 C4, nobody seems to sell them.  I spent some time looking at various GM cars and trucks to find a similar looking compressor/idler bracket as mine.  The 88-92 Camaro/Firebird looked similar so I gambled and ordered a Dorman 34157 delete pulley and was totally surprised to find that it bolted right in.  I had to grind part of the aluminum factory bracket to allow clearance where the pulley was rubbing and I had to use shorter bolts.  The stock serp belt fits but seems a little sloppy so I am going to try an 87" belt but unless your are winding your 84 passed 5000 rpm I do not think you will have a problem with the stock 88.3" belt. My smog pump has also been deleted and I did a carb conversion and am using a ZZ4 intake, 600 Edel. carb, Accel HEI distributor, and a Crane 274H06 cam.  World of difference from the old crossfire set up.
