A/C problem

The A/C blower motor in my 2004 C5 sometimes comes on while the key is not in the ignition.  It is random and runs my battery down.  Also in the digital read out a small "L" is visible.  Any tips!!!  

i looked at the Tsb's on the your car.. there are 2 different motors.. i did not know which one you have...

i did see a few TSB's that i would probably want to read...

i don't have access to the wiring diagrams for the 04 model yet..  the closest i could come up with is the 2001 model..

do you have access to a scan tool????

you might be able to push a combination of AC buttons to get trouble codes from the onboard system.

see if you can push the OFF and warmer button at the same time for a few seconds...  you know you have done it right when all the lights come on every display..  write down all the code numbers.. not just the descriptions..

leave your foot off the brake when you turn the key on and when you depress the off and warmer button.. pushing the brake sends you into a different diagnostic test usually ..   i am not sure this will work on your car.. i don't have full access to an O4 model repair info..  yet..

hopefully somebody with knowledge of the newer model diagnostics...  i will continue to look around...
