1973 Small Block without AC: Noticed small puddle of coolant on front top of block,(both sides). Checked and tightened all hoses...still see coolant . Cant seem to locate origin even w/ engine running.

do you have a radiator pressure tester .. some parts stores have them in their loan a tool section...
this is the one in stock at most AZ stores.. #9300 or MT300

could the leak be coming from the intake manifold gaskets... they have been known to leak..
does your car have an aluminum intake on it.. probably.. they have been known to be corroded away until they leak ..
it can be corroded from around the thermostat housing and around the water ports where the intake mates to the heads...
