i was hoping that someone who races corvettes would answer...
so you are probably going to need to contact one of the vendors of performance rear end parts...
depending upon how fast your corvette is...
you are going to want to replace the universal joints once a season ... inspect the driveshafts several times a season. perhaps using a paint marker on the u joint caps to check for rotation which might be a bad thing...
i would also want to once in a while .. and mark them left side and right side.. as you never want to swap them...
examine the stub axles for twisting... if you are really with it... since the rear rotors are riveted to the axle flange.. if you can match mark the rotor... and then the inner flange.. so you might be able to tell if there is any degree of twisting that has happened during the season.. without taking the rear hubs apart...
there is no way to do this with the inner yokes into the differential... except for eyes on tear down examination..
you should be able to get far superior components for the outer stub axles and the inner yokes... stronger drive shafts are a NO brainer..
even top fuelers break parts .. when pushing parts to the limits and beyond.. sometimes.. you find that straw that broke the camels back..
