I own a 79' corvette and I need to know how to difficult it is to remove the head lights assemby? I have a problem with one of the light assemblies as it opens up it makes contact with the car body. I know it needs to be rebulit, so I need to know how to pull the whole unit out.

you should probably check this web site out... they offer for 15 bucks a trouble shooting manual for the headlight system.. i have not looked at it to see if it contains the mechanical repairs or just the vacuum trouble shooting section...
