Hi, does turing off the TC/AH in C5 has an influence on the performance (top speed, acceleration)? Does it only influence the driving, when one of the wheels starts sliping and you can feel that the system gets the throttle back (and the TC light starts blinking), or does it influence the driving even if you don't see the light on, or feel the gas put back by the system? Best r Peter

thats a really good question.. hopefully someone will see it that might know... one of the magazine staffers..???
do you have a factory service manual for your C5???? it might be explained better in there at what times it works..
as it uses .. not just the steering inputs. but G force sensor data , antilock speed sensors.. and a bunch of other info to maintain control...
wondering if it works passively ... and only turns on the warning light when limits are pushed...
there should be some articles on it scattered around the various magazines.. as corvette fever and vette are not just the only magazines who cover corvettes... motor trend has also covered them...
i will look around see what i can find..
