Young and talented driver Michael Skeen, of Charlotte, NC, was given the opportunity to drive the Cragar/CRP Racing Corvette that Ron Fellows had driven to 2 victories this year at Mosport and Watkins Glen in the SCCA Pro-Racing World Challenge GT Series.
In his debut in the World Challenge Series, Michael qualified the Corvette in 2nd, missing pole by .003s and went on to win Round 8 at the Mid-Ohio Grand Prix August 7, 2010.
In Round 9 on August 8, Michael was running 2nd for the majority of the race until the car had gearbox selection problems. Even with these issues, Michael still finished top 10 in 9th place, had the fastest race lap AND won Best Move of the Race!
