I have heard that the crossfire corvette motor had problems. I am looking at a 1989 Corvette. Does it still have the crossfire motor in a 89 ? If not are the 89 motors ok? thanks

crossfire motors did have problems where people did not understand how to properly adjust them... tried to disconnect stuff... they were available in 82 and 84 vettes... 83 and 84 camaros... they are basicly a throttle body fuel injection system used on millions of cars and trucks up through 92 i think.. but everybody is afraid as they don't quite understand them...
the 89 will have a Tuned port fuel injection system...
there are a few problems with those.. but a lot more info is available on them... and tons more parts...
type in C4 into the search window in the top right..
you will find a lot of articles on those models...
