got my 81 corvette. had the heads off during the winter.had them redone. put the car back together. now iam having a problem with over heating. took the water pump off seems ok. ran with thermostat. over heat took thermostat out still over heats. gets so hot it blows the coolant out the over flow hose on the raderater. no other visable leaks. none.. dead in the water any thoughts. other than shoot it. lol aroller..

all made sense to me. going to have radeator flushed first. if that checks out ok will tear the heads back off.. nightmare thought. did not have the problem untill i redid the heads. older car's are a drain... and a pain thanks for the advise. will start simple. hope it works then move on. to something else
