Hello - I'm new the Corvette world - I am looking at buying a very nice 1974 Coupe (t-tops) with the L48 offering as the motor. This car has been restored (not frame off) but with alot of changes - heavy price items like suspension components, interior and paint. Can someone give me a ballpark on value prior to my purchase. I can give other input if needed - no power steering and no A/C. Four speed transmission
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Don.

I am also looking at a very nice 74 corvette. This one is really nice and he started out asking 16500.00 He's down to 13,700 now. You can find nice ones around 10,000 to 12,000. 74 and 75 Corvetts have a pretty low resale value right now but eventually they will go up. The 74 rear bumper was bad about splitting apart and are hard to find to replace. Most people have to put a fiberglass bumper on when the old one gets bad. I am holding out on this one till it goes to 12,000 but I just found a really nice 89 black convert for 10,000 i will probally get instead.

Read your post again and no power steering and no air is a minus for the car. I wouldnt give any more than 10,000 IF everything works. Make sure the guages all work and that the lights still go up and down.

Your better off saving more money, and buy something with chrome bumpers.. 68,69,70-72,and if your desperate, a 73...
