I got the simulator from mid america and put it in but i am still getting the same message on the display my steering was never locked but my fuel shuts off could it be a faulty simulator bypass or what ?

when i go to put the blinker on the outer steering wheen case where directtional goes thru moves 360 degrees,what part actually locks this from spinning

i will have to dig out a manual see what shows up...
i currently don't understand exactly what you are talking about yet...
are you saying that the upper column bowl is spinning around when you try to activate the turn signal lever..
64 to 66 should be the very close ... and 67 with just a few changes.. in column design on the telescopic columns

you have the RPO N36 telescopic column....
here is a link to a specialist in that exact column as it was used in other chevys also...
