Just wanted to say that your Project C3 Vette is a great article that I can relate to. I bought a 1971 Warbonnet Yellow Coupe right out of college and had 8 years of the best driving. My question is in looking at your photos it appeared to me that yours is not a 1971 since yours doesn't have "egg crate" side grilles on the front fenders nor a chrome front bumper. Mine did and I think GM carried that same combination over through 1972. Your Vette looks like a 1973. What gives here?
