Why does my 06 corvette only rev to 4000rpm in park w/ new exhaust.

I just installed B&B Bullets on my 06 Corvette AOD.I tried to bring up the revs to hear it and it only goes to 4000rpm.It does not sputter like its hitting a rev limiter.I bought the car in Aug 09 and I remember I did the with the stock exhaust and it went all the way to 6000rpm till I let up.There are no wires I hit or unplugged.
