ANY SUGGESTIONS ON CLUTCH MANUFACTURERS AND MODELS? My clutch is giving me warnings signs that it is at the end of its life. In the morning when the car is cold, while letting the clutch out with the transmission in gear a grinding noise can be heard. When the clutch is fully engaged there is no noise, and when the car warms up the noise no longer occurs. I have an 05 C-6 base model Vette with 64,000 miles on it. It's my daily driver and although I enjoy spirited driving I don't take the car to the track. I'm overwhelmed by the numerous choices in clutches. The main feature I'm looking for in a clutch with longevity and quality engineering. Suggestions anyone?

Based on your description-Just wondering. have you cleaned the clutch fluid out. Simple things first. if still a problem call Max or Julian at Cartek in Garwood N.J. and ask them. They are great people and there knowledge is second to none.
