I have a 71 coupe, and added a Holley 770 Street Avenger a few months back.  I modified my Rochester bracket, and kept the original cable, but it's not "right".

Can you list the parts you used for the Holley conversion you did?  You said you found everything you neede on Summit.  Did you change the throttle cable?  If not, how did you mount it? Also, did you bend the dual chrome fuel supply line around the manifold water supply for the heater hose?
