Hello All,
I am new to the forum and just purchased a new 2009 Corvette. I am interested in hearing your thoughts on the Engine Oil Life System. Is it trustworthy or should I change the oil every 3 Months/3,000 Miles, or possibly every 3 Months/5,000 Miles, etc...???
I am from the old school to where I did my oil changes every 3 Months or 3,000 miles. When I switched to synthetic oil, I did my oil changes every 6 Months or 5,000 Miles... Any input would be appreciated...

you fell right in the oil trap! even in the "old" days you did'nt need to change the oil that often! quit trying to out think the engineer'es!
