I have A 1987 VETTE. there is a screw in filter above the fuel filter. it looks like a oil filter but it isnt. any body know about this? IS it a coolant filter? any help would be great

from what i can see under the vette. YES the pic you sent looks like it. i dont think it has been replaced because it is a ac delco filter. is it a fuel filter or a external transmission filter.  thanks for your help, i do apprecate it .

if it is hooked to the fuel line.. it is a fuel filter...   elements are available at almost every parts store nationwide...

look up fuel filters for a 77 to 85 cad seville...
