Hello,
What year did the Lt. powder blue color start getting produced? I think it was 1979 when It started. My other questions are, Did it carry into a year when the 6 speed manual transmisson was offered. Is there a information site I can do my own research on?

Thank you,
Paul

Starting to look for a high mileage vette in the $3,500-3,000 range.

Hi Paul,
paintscratch.com will give you a list of all paint codes available for each year Corvette.  Each paint code is accompanied by a sample paint chip.  For the 83 Vette, I saw a Light Blue Metallic Clearcoat, paint code 20/WA7720, that may be the powder blue that you are looking for.  I checked the 79 thru 82 lists, but did not see a color that looked like powder blue.  Hope this helps!

Thanks buzz, my wife came home and asked if we could start thinking about a 3rd car, let's make it a vette we can afford and a color see liked. The lt blue is for her. Hell I'll drive a pink vette with stipes to own a vette...

I love fishing, but I don't usually catch much!  I'll send a picture to seal the deal.  It won't be of me, because that would kill the deal!
