How could I hire someone to help me find a corvette I had to sell about 20 years ago?

If you know the VIN, I would pay for a Carfax VIN search.  You might find a record of a recent title change or safety inspection that provides the city/state of the event.  Then you can advertise in that area that you are looking for the car.
