When I have my C6 top on, it continually creates a popping noise. The dealer applied some Silicon lubricant with no effect. Is there any known, successful way to solve this problem?

There are many posts on this topic. One I thought was good. Up on the locking handle is a roller that locks in to place when to[ is locked in. That roller slides back and forth on the U shaped bracket that holds it into place. The dealer cure for that is to get a 3/16 c clip and slide over the bracket ath the end of the roller. That keeps the roller from sliding back and forth even though movement is slight it makes a noise. It worked for me. Once in a great while if going over a lot of rough it may do it. Your dealer should have had a service bulletin on it.
