Hello my friends, I am not a Vette owner but my father has a ragtop '68 327 4speed and my brother has a 2003 ZO6 with a Procharger. I am a Vette fan and hope to one day build a Grand Sport replica. For now I wrench on a Pro Street '69 Nova. I just wanted to share my feelings on Dan Fastuca featured in "Vette" a month or so ago. Being a fan of both Corvettes and Heavy Metal music I immediately leafed to that article in my brother's issue and was blown away by the featured cars, Dan's relationship with the great Guldstrand, and most of all by Dan himself. The section of the article where he talked about relenquishing his newly completed Vette to his tour manager Joe Acevedo moved me to tears. It is stuff like that which makes me proud to be a member of the car community. People like Dan are what it's all about and I just wanted to say Kudos to him. Hope he gets to read this. I am absolutely going to check out his band and try to pick up some of their music! I hope somebody else out there enjoyed the article as much as I did and Hurray "Vette" for printing it! Keep up the good work and to anyone reading this, Happy Motoring and/or Vette collecting, restoring, etc. this summer!-Mark Soulsby
