I have a 1994 corvette 6spd. I have only a K/N.  Im thinking of going with a borla cat-back exhaust.  I would like to put headers on too.  My question to you is how hard is it to add long tube to your 96 corvette?

An experienced shop should be able to do the job in under a day, provided you buy well-designed headers and have all of the installation hardware on hand.

To be honest, though, headers aren't an upgrade I'd perform on a stock or lightly modified LT1 Vette. A full headers-to-tips setup added only a handful of horsepower to our '96, and didn't noticeably improve its performance at the track.

Higher-ratio roller rockers, lower (numerically higher) gears, or a custom PCM tune will all net you bigger performance gains for less money.

Thanks for reading,
