Can a LS1 be put into 69 vette?

I have just purchased a 1969 corvette and i sold the engine out of it wich was a 350 and I was wondering if it were possible and how easy it would be to put a LS1 with a 5 speed manual transmission into my vette. And i would also like to know how much it mite cost me to do all of this. So if you have any information just let me know
