Little to no heat coming out. Heater core is clear and has a new thermostat. Blows up and down as it should, based on temperature selected on climate control. Occasionally will blow slightly warm air in first few minutes, but then changes to cooler air. My mechanic is baffled. Does anyone an idea as to what may be wrong?
Thanks, Gene.

Hey Gene, acording to the '94 factory service manual, there may be codes present that may help in diagnosis...

Sounds like the heater control valve the directs coolant to the heater core is not working properly. I'd also inspect all the heater hoses to make sure you don't have a kink or blockage.

Pressure test at the Chevy dealer must have blown somehing out of the heater core. The heat started coming through!!
