The most common question we get is, "Why VetteBlock?" Well it's simple, we wanted Corvette owners to have the same feeling online they get at a car show or get together. That feeling of comradery and passion that is unique to all Corvette owners from bone stock to Z06 and ZR1 super cars.

Using developers of Facebook applications and designers of artwork for MySpace pages, we came up with the idea of Vetteblock, an online social utility for Vette owners. A community where you can sell an item, or buy an item that you desperately need. Read reviews on that item from your peers or reviews on the seller.

Join a group or put your club on VetteBlock to be able to plan events and let your members RSVP or simply say they can't make it. Chat in real time and post on someone's hood, while having access to your own Inbox of messages.

Show off your Corvette with photos on our Flickr plug-in or upload a profile picture of yourself so folks can see the mug behind the machine. It's more than just forums; it's who you are.

So welcome to VetteBlock, the last Corvette site you'll ever need.

Thanks.

Longtime numerous corvette owner, first time on this blog! I was wondering if anyone had any experience finding and retreiving the manifest or build sheet off of a 1978 silver anniversary.  I had read of all the usual places to locate this like inside seats(already had new leather put on so if my guy would have found it there he would of told me), under carpet(I personally put in a new carpet kit w/insulation and did not find it), up under dash behind gauges(not there), on top of the struts(I have been under there plenty with all new shocks bushings etc..), which brings me to the top of the gas tank.  Does anyone have a way to get in there without dropping the tank? I have taken the gas filler cover off and looked around at the top of the tank as far as I can see and did not see one.  I have taken out the taillights and looked through the holes and see some kind of paper way back on the front side of the tank. Maybe there is some kind of tool to reach in through the light to grab at it.  Let me know if anyone has any ideas.  Thanks.   Jon  jonnybog@hotmail.com
