I have a 94 LTI 6 Speed that continues to have problems with the clutch slave cylinder. I have had it replaced 5 times in the last 3 years and this with only 3,000 miles that i put on the car. It has been replaced by a corvette mechanic that works at a local dealer and the problem continues. The clutch starts to feel different when i push it down and it continues to get lower and lower as i change gears until i cannot change gears any more. Has anyone had similar experiences and if so were you able to get it fixed.

With a hydraulic clutch, you have a slave and master cylinder. Have you replaced the master cylinder yet? It could be going bad and putting junk int he hydraulic fluid going to the slave cylinder and killing the slave cylinder prematurely.
Also, what fluid are you using in the clutch?

I just found out from the vette mechanic that i use that not running the car on a regular basis could ruin the master & slave. He told me to check under the dash on the firewall to see if there was a fluid stain which means the master is shot and if that is the case i know from experience that once that goes they both go and they need to be changed. I have had this problem 3 times and it is getting old fast.
