Wiring problem on a 79. I was trying to fix my horn.
I found a blown fuse and replaced it. when i put the fuse in that controls the horn and the interior lights
the motor will not shut off and the gauges are pegged.
I checked the wire going to the dist. with the fuse in it is hot all the time. With the fuse out it is only hot with the key on. any ideas.  

I think i fiqured it out. I believe the problem is in the printed circuit of the center console gauges.
