My 88 wipers are being weird. They come on intermittently, work fine for awhile and then just quit. It seems that if I accelerate hard they will come on briefly (contacts somewhere?). I've had the pulse board off and the contacts appear OK. Anyone had this issue?

The pulse board itself might be going bad. Good thing is, GM used that same pulse board on everything, and you can get a new one in the Help section at your local parts store for about $30.
