HI
I'm trying to find out about some luggage I purchased from a former Corvette owner in California.I bought it at a yard sale because the look was so unique. I thought it would be great to travel with because it would be easy to pick out. As I was leaving, the man who owned it said please take good care of that luggage I bought it when I bought my new 57 vette. I ordered it from Corvette Magazine and used to travel to Reno and Vegas with it and the bell hops would recognize it as Corvette luggage. It is the right colors for corvettes of that period. He loved his car so much I know he is not mistaken about what it was and where he got it. I have been reluctant to use it until I find out more. There is no manufacturer that I can find but it was high end for the time. Please help if you can. Thanks Jan

I'm sure someone in the 50s did make "Corvette Luggage". For high end cars, a popular option/aftermarket item was a matched luggage set design to fit in the unique trunks of cars like the Corvette, Thunderbird, Mercedes Gull Wing, and other such roadsters or high end vehicles.
While I can't give you anything specific on the lugggae you bought, I'd suggest poking around eBay and seeing if anyone else has similar luggage sets for sale.
