My cd player ate a cd and won't eject it. any ideas?

C4 audio systems are notorious for this sort of thing. The Delco-Bose rig in my '96 gobbled a cassette shortly after I bought the car, and I haven't been able to pry the thing loose since.
If anyone out there has information on how to deal with this problem, we'd love to hear about it. As much as I love Judas Priest's Painkiller album, I can't justify a trip to the Chevy dealer just to extricate it.
