First the car: 72 Stingray w/350 and 4spd
Just recently the car has been jerky when accelerating, even when practically no throttle is applied. From anywhere above 2000 rpm it also occasionally backfires. We have checked the timing, dwell and the carb to make sure fuel is being injected. We are running 93 octane in it. Should lower like 87 be used or is it something else bigger?
