cable is working but not releasing passenger side hood. The driver side releases. is there an emergency release, or a way to open it?

If your in a c3, put a glove on right hand, lift drivers side hood w left hand and reach under the hood past the d/s hood latch and then pull on the cross cable to release passenger side. Your cross cable is probably seized up so that the inner cable wont slide inside the outer part of the cable. Order a new one from ecklers or zip .. about $40
