"Roller tip just has a single roller on the tip of the rocker arm that comes in contact with the valve stem tip. While this does significantly reduce friction compared to a stamped steel rocker, it cannot compete with a full roller rocker which has a needle bearing fulcrum as well as the roller tip. Your decision would probably be best based upon the other components of your valve train and your intended rpm.

A roller tip does nothing to reduce friction on a rocker arm. If anything, it's been found that roller tips increase the side wear on valve guides.
The real and only measureable friction reduction in a rocker arm is when a roller fulcrum is installed, like in most good roller rockers. A good set of roller rockers in stock ratio will give you 10-15 HP increase.
