What is the feasibility of replacing the LS2 in a C6 Corvette with an LC3 (the Northstar V8 SC)? Considering the XLR shares the same chassis and drivetrain layout as the Corvette, I'm thinking there could be minimal modifications needed: motor mounts, wiring harness, ECU re-tuning. Although this may be a taller engine, any clearance issues could be dealt with a hood modification. Do you know of an such swaps?
Personally, I think this would be a more appropriate "ZR1" option than the proposed supercharged pushrod V8.

An LC3 swap might sound easy, but don't count on it turning out that way. Consider, for example, the hassle of putting an LS7--which shares most exterior dimensions with the LS2--into a standard C6.
And even if you could overcome the hurdles of hood replacement, tuning, et al., why would you want to? You could make considerably more power with an LS derivative, and keep the car all-Chevy in the process.
