My Crossfire is growing up. It's a 383 4bolt, 6'rods, Dart heads-mild clean up and bowl blend 202/160's, 1.6-1 rr's, Crane 2040, long tubes-2.5" exhaust w/Flow 40's, smog pump deleted, egr deleted, Pete K 9.5" 2500 stall, kitted 700r4, 3.75's, and: heavily ported Crossfire intake w/ adjustable vafpr, and 40psi fuel pump. Just did the HAM board and EBL Flash install in a 7747 to replace the stock ecm that just can't cooperate. When I started looking at all the tuning parameters, the idea of a Weiand and Holley looked pretty inviting. I'm committed now. Dove in been doing lotsa reading. it's definately not for the faint hearted.Luckily Ken at the Crossfire forum was able to lend much needed assistance or this wouldn't be happening, Jim and Tom too. My particular combo wasn't done to make the biggest numbers but to offer excellent daily driving and "power under the curve."
