i have a 1986 corvette i have changed the switch and the wiper motor and cover. have low and high speed but no delay .can someone tell what else can be wrong..

You said you changed the cover, do you mean the control circuit board that's on the wiper motor? This could be the cause of you not having any delay wiper speed.

yes the control circuit board thats on the motor.also my washer motor will not shut off.it did with the same circuit board on the old wiper motor.

Sounds like maybe you got a defective circuit board. If the old board didn't do that no matter what wiper motor it was on, then the problem's gotta be in the new board.
One more thing, check the wiring for the circuit board. Sometimes distrubing old wiring can create some problems if it's not in the best condition.
