I have a 94 Black Vette. There are water spots that just won't come out. I tries waxing it a few times. It had NO affect what so ever. Would rubbing compoud help ? Thought I'd ask before diving in to deep.
Any ideas?
Thanks

DON'T USE RUBBING COMPOUND! That's the last resort in this case.
First, give the car a good wash, then dry it yourself, don't let it air dry. Next, you want to hit the car with a clay bar system from either Turtle Wax or Meguires. After the clay bar, if you still have water spots, you'll need to use some clear coat safe polish. Meguires has this. After that, or ifthe waterspots are gone, give the car a good wax job, and you'll be good to go.
In the future, to help prevent waterspots, don't let your car air dry, dry it with chamois yourself, and don't let the car get sprayed by sprinklers and other hard water sources.
