Can anyone provide evidence that '65 Stingrays raced with small block and disc brakes in period - the FIA are not allowing a number of owners of these cars here in the UK to race with discs only drums ('63 homologation) unless we can prove otherwise - WE NEED YOUR HELP USA!!
email me at david@redkiteland.com or post me please!!!

That's not right. In 1965, four-wheel disc brakes became STANDARD on the Corvette. Drum brakes were an option in '65, but only while supplies lasted. Only 316 Corvettes were made with drum brakes in '65 model year.
Small block '65 cars did race during the period, because the 396 didn't debut in the '65 until mid-March of '66.
Take them a copy of Mike Antonick's "Corvette Black Book", the informations is clearly listed in there.
