Congrats on your new purchase! First, on what gas to use, you need to know what compression ratio is in the engine. Which engine does your Corvette have in it? Is it stock or a late model? Until you know this, play it safe and run 93-octane in it.
As for additives, you need to know if the heads had hardened valve seats installed in them. If it's an orignal resto and the engien has original non-hardened valve seats, you'll need to use a lead additive in the fuel to lubricate the and protect the valve seats.
The specs on your car will help to exactly determine what you need to do.
