I have a C6 auto with the ls2 and the darn thing shifts so sluggishly, is there anything i can do?  

From what I understand the C6 uses the new 6 speed automatic, with two shifting options.  First option is your standard "D" drive, and the other one is below it, which should be the sport shift.  From what I understand is the sport shift will shift more aggressively by sensing how you're driving, unless you have the paddle-shift option, which in that case I believe the sport shift puts you in the paddle-shift mode for you to shift when you want to.  If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me, but I haven't had a chance to experience a C6 for myself yet.  

If it's not an issue of being in sport shift mode or not, I'd take it to the dealership, sounds like there might be a problem in the valve body and/or electronics.
