There's been some recent discussion on the web that the C6R is going to be outclassed by the newer chassis coming out of Europe in the 2007 model year. Can the C6R hold it's own against newer foes?

I think that really depends on IMSA if they are going to continue to penalize the C6R's to make other teams competitive. I understand that the C6R's are far superior, but IMSA should still give the other teams a challenge. Something to strive for, to better their cars instead of relying on the rule makers to level out the playing field. Someone has to set the standard for everyone else to achieve, might as well be a Corvette. Besides I read somewhere that most of the other teams like the tail lights on the C6R's.
I wish I could drive one at Road America for a couple of laps, with no one else on the track of course.
