With the fact that C3s and Early C4s are cheap, why don't we see more Vettes beign used for drag racing? Anyone out there building a good C3 or C4 drag car right now?

I am, though I'm still trying to tweak everything to get the best possible performance. I don't I'll be finished until I get the other parts I ordered, though.

I have a 84 vette that I just reringed, installed a small camshaft, vortec heads, performer intake and 670cfm holley street avenger, I plan on bracket racing it, haven't had it at the track since reringing, got 14.90's out of it stock, feels like it might go 13's if I can get traction. I've been searching for others doing something simular but haven't found anyone.

I've got my '84 running 14.3's and it'll be in the 13's in a couple weeks. It's still running the CFI and works great. There's a lot of Drag Racing Vettes, I just went to the National Corvette Challenge a couple weeks back. They acually run both east and west coast series so ya might look into that. Good luck w/your 84!
